Ah, well.

I think I got something stuck in my eye. The outer side (as in not the side with the lacrimal channel) is red and it hurts just a bit to blink. Ow. Gotta wash it down and hope it's not conjunctivitis.

Right, my birthday in five days (April 20)! ^^ Soon I'll be O2 2.0! Fun stuff, must make plans! I even bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (a legal copy this time) as a birthday gift to myself. Spent most of the past weekend skulking around in the Zone.

Hello, citizens!

It's time for much joy and merriment, for yours truly has finally gotten one of his pictures deleted due to "Policy Violation"! I shall, of course, not let you wondering. It was this pic here: [link] (it's on my own hosting space! Will never be deleted! Mwhahahahahah!)

Yup, the Loli-Popsicle. I am thoroughly amused by the fact that a picture that was specifically marked as "mature" for non-pornographic nudity and being suggestive was deleted, even though I often see much naughtier stuff being shown around with nobody saying a word. Or maybe we should take a look at the Photography galleries, in which clearly erotic, borderline pornographic stuff gets through with no problem ([link] [link]). Either their censors are a lot looser, or they somehow think taking those pictures took so much more effort than my 45 minutes of drawing that mine is undeserving of their server space and thus must be nuked for the morals and decency of all. Fun stuff.

This isn't really a rant, though. Because admittedly I was wondering how long would it take for that picture to be deleted (drawings of juvenile antropomorphic females licking on phallus-shaped objects? I mean, come on!). It took a lot longer than I expected, which basically only proves me that either the DevART moderating staff is really overstretched, or some people make a hobbie out of randomly pushing the report button.

Either that or I genuinely insulted someone. But how often does THAT happen on the internet?

I shall now spend the rest of the evening enjoying my new status as a member of the very select society of rules-breaking scoundrels. Cheers!

PS: for the record, all the pictures I linked here (with exception of the one I drew, of course) are in my favourites, a veritable goldmine for pictures naked girls. I would be really disappointed if those pictures were taken away because of this journal, but hey... what are the odds?

Hello, fellow citizens! Three months, no journals! That's gotta be a record!

It's not like people actually read this thing.


Anyway. My university classes have started and I've got myself a part-time job as a webdesigner (more like an internship, really). So I'm staying out of the house a lot longer than before and can't draw as much. That's why I haven't uploaded much stuff lately.

Speaking of stuff, I got myself a new tablet! It's not a Wacom, but it'll do. Specially because my old Graphire stylus' tip was getting so short I could barely draw with that thing. So now I have an A4-sized Trust tablet. Heavier and rougher than my original tablet at first, but pretty good after I got used to it. Good tablet, now I just need a bigger screen so I don't have to scroll around so much while drawing.

Also got a new sketchbook. One I can actually draw on (in?) properly, since my last few ones were just too big to be practical. Got a lot of unfinished sketches there and on the computer which I'm trying to finish so I can upload them here sometime soon.

So, I got myself a copy of Team Fortress 2, and I totally blame it for my lack of artistic production lately! That game is awesome in at least eight dimensions of our ten-layered superstring universe! Naturally, it was a great review jubject on The Oxyde, my new games-and-whatever-else-comes-to-mind blog. Check it out!

In the artistic front, no new pics so far (mostly due to the aforementioned awesome game, TF2), but I'm rather inspired and with some luck I'll manage to finish at least one of my projects this week (my lizard-like Species, I might even give them a name!). Also, a guy I know wants to make an exposition and put my works on display on a big art gallery! How cool is that?
